The heart of Pacific Palisades sparkled Saturday evening as neighbors flocked to the cherished Christmas tree lighting at Palisades Village.
Thousands turned out, demonstrating unwavering community spirit despite ongoing recovery from this year's Palisades Fire.
Festivities included kid-friendly crafts, face painting, live performances, and sweet holiday treats enjoyed by all ages.
Central to the celebration was a towering 50-foot white fir from Mt. Shasta, illuminated by 3,000 lights and over 1,500 ornaments — a powerful symbol of hope and new beginnings.
Santa’s arrival set off the crowd’s countdown as gentle snowflakes fell, transforming the village into a winter wonderland.
Developer Rick Caruso, of Caruso Property, reassured attendees that the traditions and revitalization of Palisades Village — including new shops and a returning elysewalker boutique — remain on course for a 2026 reopening.
The night ended in song, uplifting spirits and reaffirming the Palisades’ resilient community bond.
